Miles of History SCAM - Miles Huskey

Comparisonictures of the coin which ebay seller 1861-1865 Miles Huskey of Miles of History scammed me out of $1000
Scambuster reports online and offline scams.

On the right is a picture I took of the actual coin sold to me by Ebay seller Miles Huskey of Miles of History. The coin on the left is a picture of another similar coin, but without the wear shown in the Huskey coin. It is in fact an example of how Ebay seller Miles Huskey's coin should have looked according to him. By comparing the two, You can easily see that the Huskey coin on the right has considerable wear on the hair above the forehead below the crown, on the curls, and also has wear on the top of the head behind the crown. A true MS-63 coin would look like the coin on the left and not have the wear shown by the Huskey coin on the right. An actual MS coin"Miles of History" Scam coin

As an additional note, it is apparent that you cannot trust the "feedback ratings" on Ebay because if you do leave warranted negative feedback as I did, scammers like Miles Huskey will leave negative feedback on you. You may be at a disadvantage in any dispute if the scammer is a big seller on Ebay. I suspect that most people who have been ripped off by Ebay sellers just keep quiet, because they know that if they report a scam the seller will leave negative feedback on them. Miles Huskey's response early on was to resort to insults and name-calling. Definitely a very unprofessional businessman to avoid.
